CAD Modelling
From concept to a model you can trust
Every product ADC brings to life begins as a CAD model. Using advanced 3D-modelling software, our mechanical engineers translate a sketch, a brief or a rough idea into an accurate, fully dimensioned digital model. It’s the point where a concept stops being a drawing on paper and becomes something we can measure, test and refine – long before a single part is ever manufactured.
Our CAD work goes well beyond a nice-looking render. We build parametric models and complete assemblies with real materials, tolerances and manufacturing constraints designed in from the start – so every model is ready to feed directly into whatever comes next.

Because the design is engineered to be manufacturable from day one, each model flows straight into the next stage of your project – structural analysis, computational fluid dynamics, production shop drawings or prototyping – without costly rework or guesswork along the way.
Modelling in 3D also lets us catch problems while they’re still cheap to fix. We check fit and clearances, review how parts assemble, and optimise for weight and cost, spotting design flaws early – saving you time and money once the project reaches tooling and production.
Just as importantly, a clear 3D model gives everyone involved a shared and unmistakable picture of exactly what’s being built. From stakeholders to manufacturers, everyone works from the same source of truth, which keeps feedback focused and decisions moving.
Backed by more than 20 years of Australian engineering experience and a network of trusted local and overseas manufacturers, ADC uses CAD modelling as the bridge between your idea and a finished, market-ready product. Whatever your industry or the size of your project, we make sure the design is right on screen first – so it’s right in the real world.
